On the plane ...

I am on the flight to London's Gatwick airport where I will try to see some of the city until catching my flight to Rome. It was very emotional to leave Nick and my parents. It was a scene at the airport before boarding. Tears and a complete outpouring of emotions took place as we were saying goodbye. I hope I am making a good decision. I'm very sad and also very excited, kinda weird to feel both at the same time. I just cannot wait to be standing in front of La Fontana de Trevi again!

I have to sit in the middle of the plane. I hate sitting in the middle of the plane!!!! I am in the middle aisle in the middle seat. Middle, Middle, Middle. Sigh! To my right in an English lady who had just finished vacationing at Disney World with her husband and little girl. She's huge! No room to place my arm on the right arm rest, that is for sure. To my left is a little Indian woman. More room to my left. I hope I can get some sleep on this flight because I won't have another chance to sleep for 12 hours after the plane lands.
