Wonderful Wednesday

Today was a pretty relaxed day. The kids had friends over after school and so they were occupied. I went out and exchanged some money this afternoon. I don't even want to comment on the exchange rate. It's depressing. I'll have to only use my weekly earnings or I'll go broke very quickly. 

For dinner Camilla made meatballs, artichoke hearts and zucchini.  It was very good. I will make this dinner at home forever. The meatballs were divine. Mmmmmm.

Camilla told me that she worked on a very famous Caravaggio painting in Malta.   The painting was the most important painting that Caravaggio painted in Malta, The Beheading of Saint John the Baptist. It is a huge painting, she said. I can't believe this. I am so impressed!

Also, she told me that this weekend we will go to Tuscany to visit Federico's family. I am so excited. I can't wait to see the vineyard. I only wish I had my camera. :( Hopefully we will go again. Sunday I will go to Siena. Yay!! So much for my Sunday plans with Caitlin. I will have to cancel. Next week, though.
